اولین سئوالی که از من پرسید این بود که چرا باید به اجبار روسری سرتون
کنید و یا اگر آستین هات کوتاه باشه چه اتفاقی میفته؟ و اینکه چرا مردم
بخصوص خانمها اینقدر تیره پوش هستند؟ میگفت پس خدا این همه رنگ را برای چی
آفریده؟ این هم عکس من با شوهرم در اصفهان برای یک نه محکم به حجاب اجباری.
I have travelled to Iran with my non-Iranian husband for the very first time. The first questions that he asked me were the following: Why are you obliged to wear the headscarf? What kind of trouble would you run into by wearing short sleeves? Why would they impose such dark colours on women? If wearing dark colours is what they impose, then, then why has God bestowed upon us all these lively colours [that Iranian women are deprived of]? Here is a photo of mine taken with my husband during our trip to Isfahan and our unanimous "NO" to the compulsory hijab.

C'est la toute première fois que je viens en Iran avec mon mari non-iranien. Les premières questions qu'il m'a posé ont été : Pourquoi es-tu obligée de porter ce voile sur la tête ? Qu'est-ce que tu risques si tu portes des manches courtes ? Pourquoi est-ce qu'ils imposent aux femmes des couleurs aussi noires ? Si ce qu'ils imposent sont les couleurs sombres alors, alors, pourquoi Dieu a-t-il accordé autour de nous toutes ces couleurs [dont les iraniennes sont privées] ?
